- The transaction terms have not been completely spelled out yet.

- Amiga Technologies, for all intents and purposes, will become a corpse
- soon after the signing takes place. VisCorp nor Escom wants the people
- who worked up the Walker or the preview Power Amiga plans. There will
- be ONLY 2-3 Amiga people remaining at Amiga Technologies by
- mid-summer.
-
- Mr. Sasenrath has gone so far as to say that
- >he hopes to build `one killer Amiga'.
-
- I think his quote is 'and IF asked I hope to build one killer Amiga'.
-
- That, to me, does not say that the
- >A1200 and A4000T are the last in the line---quite the contrary, in fact.
-
- VisCorps' press release plainly states that they WILL continue to
- support CURRENT models and will LOOK AT future models. They have not
- hedged on this statement yet. They have made NO attempts to even
- allude to the promise of future models except to say they *will
- consider* them.

-
- Well, it doesn't matter if ATG learned anything from this or not, they
- are being gutted by Escom as we post. And VisCorp has made no
- statements leading one to believe that they will attempt to plow into
- the NA market with any big box computers. They DO however mention set
- tops everywhere.
-
- As important as Europe

-
- This still remains to be seen. It takes LOTS of cash to get into the
- NA market as several makers have found. VisCorp has the determination/
- DO they have the cash?

-
- This won't sell Amiga's in my opinion. Quality hardware at a
- competitive price with competitive software will.
